About My Journey

I am a natural healing consultant, and board certified in Internal Medicine and Lifestyle Medicine. I completed my internal medicine training at Temple University Hospital after graduating from Meharry Medical College, and I have a B.S. from the University of South Carolina. I have worked in primary care since 2014, mainly providing chronic disease managment for adults. Around 2017, at the encouragement of a good friend I watched a documentary about how certain foods can harm health. This sent me on a journey of learning how most chronic disease is related to lifestyle factors and we have the potential to rid ourselves of these diseases with sometimes simple shifts in behavior. Throughout this journey I have reversed many of my own health conditions, including migraines, painful periods, near-sightedness, coffee addiction, sugar addiction, heartburn, food allergies and constipation.
